Born in Iraq in the 1930s as the eldest son of a pharmacist, Dr. Raouf Mahdi studied pharmacy in Austria and Germany in the 1950s and completed his studies with a successful doctorate in 1959.
After his first professional beginnings in the industry, he founded Reman in the early 1970s with the vision of producing the highest quality health and wellbeing products improving the living quality of as many people as possible all around the globe.
We have remained true to our founder's vision to this day. All of our products are manufactured in Germany (“made in Germany”) using state-of-the-art manufacturing processes conforming to the highest quality standards.
We only ever use high-quality materials for our products, from the product itself to its packaging. A quality standard that can be seen and felt in each of our products.
Reman has been family-owned and family-run since it was founded. In 2016, Dr. Ali Mahdi took over the management from Dr. Raouf Mahdi in the second generation and his two sons also joined the company.
As a company in the healthcare sector, we are subject to supervision by inter alia the medicines agency (Arzneimittelaufsicht) and the local health authorities (Gesundheitsamt) and are licensed accordingly. Our quality standards are therefore also regularly ensured by external audits by these authorities as well as our customers.
From our company headquarters in Nuremberg (Bavaria), we distribute our products worldwide via a network of long-standing, strong and trusted distribution partners and are always on the lookout for new partners.
